Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about how we work, what SEO costs, and what to expect. Don't see your question? Ask us directly.
How long does SEO take to show results?
Quick wins such as fixing technical errors or improving titles can move rankings within weeks. Meaningful growth in organic traffic and leads usually builds over three to six months, and competitive markets can take longer. You'll see progress in every monthly report along the way.
Do you guarantee first-page rankings?
No. Nobody controls Google's algorithm, and any agency that guarantees a ranking is taking a risk with your site. We commit to a clear plan, honest reporting, and doing the work that drives rankings.
Are there long-term contracts?
No. Retainers run month to month with 30 days' notice to cancel. We keep clients by producing results, not by locking them in.
Where are you located, and do you work outside Portland?
We're based at 111 N Naito Pkwy in Portland, Oregon, and we work with businesses across the United States. Most work happens remotely, with video calls for walkthroughs and monthly reviews.
What platforms do you work with?
WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, and custom-built sites. If your platform limits what's possible, we'll say so in the audit.
How do I pay?
Choose a plan on our Pricing page and pay online, or pay an invoice we send you. Either way, you review and electronically sign a short credit card authorization for the exact amount, then enter your card on the secure payment page. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
Can you do work that isn't in your plans?
Yes. For site migrations, one-off projects, extra content, or anything else outside our standard plans, contact us for a quote. We'll send a custom invoice that you can pay online for the exact amount.
What do you need from me to get started?
Access to your website, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics, plus a short kickoff call to understand your customers, services, and goals.
Can you work with our in-house team or developer?
Yes. Many clients have their own developers or writers. We provide the strategy, briefs, and tickets, and review the work before it goes live.
